Joseph Crowhurst

Joe Crowhurst is Vice President of Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and Space Programs for HTS. He is responsible for guiding Program Managers in delivering engineering services and serving as a subject matter expert for MDA programs. He brings extensive experience to HTS MDA programs, including more than 20 years of expertise in the fundamentals of strategic, regional, and theater missile defense systems. Joe served as a prime contractor for Ground-Based Missile Defense (GMD) and as a direct MDA government employee, and now serves as an MDA support contractor. He retired from a 21-year military career, during which time he served as a U.S. Navy warfighter specializing in Electronic Warfare with direct experience in combat operations. Joe’s engineering experience extends into commercial software development in the telecommunications industry along with commercial product manufacturing. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering with honors from the University of Alabama.
