Daniel Claxton

Daniel Claxton is Director, Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Systems. He is responsible for the MDA Systems Directorate under the HTS MDA & Space Business Unit. The MDA Systems Directorate includes the C2BMC, GMD & Targets, Software and THAAD, and Special Projects Group. He is also Acting Program Manager (PM) of the Special Projects Group.  

Daniel has 12+ years of MDA history in addition to a solid foundation at NASA at Marshall Space Flight Center. He has experience in Targets and Countermeasures and has worked in requirements, system assessment, and C2BMC. He was promoted from C2BMC to his current role in January 2022.
